Here we need the beer

Summertime. People are hanging around. I am leaning in a deckchair drinking beer. Barbeque and it is hot - and so is the music. I am in the mood to throw comments to the people passing by. Philosophical comments the world is waiting for. Chill out, too lazy for activities. There is not really a message in the lyrics except that here we need the beer. No wonder, it was made under influence of beer. The result were that crazy, wacky rhymes.
ViennaCC: "I wanted to express a beachfeeling. Don't ask where I have it from. I only remember the steaks, the beer and the headache next morning. For authentic feeling I drank beer during the recording. That's why it is a little bit out of key, but that's alright for me."

ViennaCC: "Sommer. Herumhängen. Ich hänge im Liegestuhl. Bier trinken. Grill. Es ist heiß - und so ist die Musik. Da kommt man in Stimmung Kommentare an die vorbeigehenden Leute zu streuen. Philosophische Worte auf die die Welt gewartet hat. Ausspannen, zu faul für Aktivitäten. Da ist nicht wirklich eine Story in den Texten außer daß wir Bier brauchen. Kein Wunder, die Aufnahme entstand unter Einfluß von Bier. Daher die etwas eigenartigen Rhythmen und wackeligen Reime. Ich wollte das Gefühl an einem Strand wiedergeben. Keine Ahnung woher das kam. Ich kann mich nur an Steaks erinnern. Und Grill und Kopfweh danach. Für mehr Authenzität habe ich Bier getrunken während der Aufnahme. Daher ist es manchmal ein wenig daneben, aber das ist schon ok."
