The free service Postcard Vienna.CC lets You e-mail a virtual postcard direct to the recipient. Recipient does not get a access-code or URL to pick up the postcard. Read here how to enter information and parameters.

Das Gratis-Service Postcard Vienna.CC erlaubt es, virtuelle Postkarten via e-mail zu versenden. Zum Unterschied
zu anderen Postkarten-Systemen wird hier die gesamte Postkarte an den
Empfaenger geschickt anstatt eines Codes. Der Empfaenger muss also nicht erst
die Postkarte ueber seinen Browser holen.

Recipient Email - This is the email address of the person You want to send the postcard to. |
Empfaenger e-mail - Dies ist die e-mail-Adresse,
an die diese Postkarte geschickt wird. |

Recipient Name - This is the name of the person You are sending the postcard to. Their name will appear in the greeting. |

Empfaengers, der diese Postkarte erhalten soll. Der Name ist in den Gruessen
enthalten. |

Sender Email - This is the email address of Yourself. This may or may not be required. |

Your Name - This is the sender's name, Your name. This may or may not be required. |

Choose a Design - You can choose from different postcard designs. Use the Preview Postcard button to get an idea of what it will look like. |

Music - Choose one of the midi songs to play with the postcard. |

Send Format - There are choices of formats to send the postcard in.
- Send to users with standard email accounts
This option embeds the images and music with the mail message so the recipient can view the image
directly without the need to access a web site for the image.
- Send to users to web email accounts
This option is the same as the default format, except the image and music is not
sent with the mail message and is accessed off the web server when the recipient reads their mail.
Although Yahoo and some other web mail sites will support the first option, this method should be chosen if you are unsure of the web or mail client of the recipient.

Send Format - Die Postkarte kann in verschiedenen Formaten gesendet
werden.
- An einen standard-maessigen e-mail-Empfaenger
Diese Auswahl bewirkt, dass Bild und Musik in das e-mail eingebettet sind. Der
Benutzer braucht also keinen Internet-Zugang, um die Nachricht ansehen bzw.
anhoeren zu koennen.
- An einen Web-basierten e-mail-Account
Bei dieser Option wird die Postkarte formatiert geschickt, jedoch ist Bild
und Musik nicht eingebettet, sondern in der Nachricht mit einem Link vermerkt.
Der Benutzer sieht den Text, benoetigt aber einen Internet-Zugang fuer Bild
und Musik. Manche Web-basierten e-mails wie z.B. Yahoo unterstuetzen zwar die
erste Option, aber nicht alle. Solltest Du nicht sicher sein, dann waehle
diese Option.
