Good Days Bad Days
Philosphical words about life. There are good days and there are bad
days. In a depressive song with "stone" you likely rhyme to "alone", but
not me. I take "groan", what fits well too.
Interesting the connex of the lines "And your tie is a noose" and "And you
feel tied up in knots".
Repeating words/messages "deep, deep and deeper" and "really, really bad" is
used to reinforce the message.
I like the inline rhyme of "forget about the better".
The songtitle is not taken out of the refrain, but from the verse.
Words that did not make it into the songlyrics
Be aware you need the bad days
Really, really bad
To realize the good days
But at the end of all days
Good days outnumber the bad |
Good Days Bad Days
Philosophische Betrachtung über das Leben. Da gibt es gute Tage und schlechte
Tage. Und in schlechten Tagen heißt es: nicht verzagen. |
Good Days Bad Days
When your head is a stone
And your voice is a groan
You sink into your chair
Deep, deep and deeper
The fingers run through your hair
When you're small in big shoes
And your tie is a noose
You're buried deep in thoughts
Deep, deep and deeper
You feel like tied up in knots
Darkest shadows crawl near
And you switch reverse gear
You fall in deep depression
Deep, deep and deeper
You want to close down that mess
Ref 1+2:
Some days are good days
Some days are bad days
And it changes day by day
When days are low
Well, You should know
Don't forget about the better
Ref 3:
Well, there are good days
And there are bad days
And it changes day by day
When you feel low
Ahh, You should know
Don't forget about the better
